Yvette Flores
Yvette is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas and a member of the Association of Family & Conciliation Courts. Yvette earned her Masters of Science Degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University in 2011. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Texas in 2000.
Ms. Flores has experience and specialized training in working with Multicultural families, Child Counseling, Crisis Management, and Domestic Violence. Yvette is bilingual and has conducted Custody Evaluations in Spanish. Ms. Flores has also received training as a Parent Coordinator and a Parent Facilitator.
Yvette volunteered at Mosaic Family Services, where she counseled men and women who had been victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. Ms. Flores also taught parenting classes in both Spanish and English.
Ms. Flores also has volunteer experience as a lead Sunday school teacher for middle-school-aged children. Yvette developed and implemented the curriculum for these classes, and she received the Community Award for her volunteer work.
